I agree that the entire premise of the elf was left out of this cartoon. The elf is there to report back to Santa about naughty children encouraging them to be good. The kid was not really naughty at all and there wasn't a real need for the elf to be there. Not to mention the music was utterly forgettable. I just felt not enough time was spent on the plot or the music.I liked the illustration but this show could have had so much more excitement and a more heart tugging conclusion. I love christmas cartoons, I like that new ones are popping up each year, but the old ones like The night before christmas, frosty, The first white christmas, Mickey's christmas carol are so much better!
